“Kim of Queens” shows that Abby Lee Miller of “Dance Moms” is not the only tough broad out there. Tonight for the season two premiere, Kim looks for new talent but what will she find?
Kim Gravel is a pageant coach as opposed to Abby who is a dance coach. They both use hard as nails tactics to get the results that they want and to win. As with “Dance Moms,” we must have pageant moms and they would be:
- Debbie: Hannah’s mom, whom Kim constantly calls an older barbie doll and says is just trying to make Hannah a mini her.
- Angie: Marah’s mom, who adopted Marah and is very open about how she will do anything it takes to make her daughter happy and doesn’t care what it takes. She is a dance teacher and prides herself in Marah’s ability to clog.
- Lee: Anslee’s mom, older than the other moms. She says that her daughter “isn’t spoiled, but well loved.” She often asks Kim for help when Anslee isn’t confident about herself.
- Kelly: Addison’s mom, who has a strong Southern accent and was introduced in episode one. She brought her daughter to Kim because she “wanted to see the girly girl” and has been a regular since.
- Tateasa: Alexis’s mom who they say is the “most beautiful”
Much like Abby, Kim likes to bring in new girls to compete with those already being trained. Along with her mom Jo and sister Allisyn, they are ready to take on the pageant world, one innocent girl at a time! Lifetime really has zeroed in on this particular market when you think about it!
