“Dance Moms” is showing that the whatever the mother’s choose to do, Abby Lee Miller will punish their children in return. Is that not a great way to run a studio? You can keep up with this season of “Dance Moms” right here.
The Abby Lee Dance Company is back in LA and they have already lost two competitions. At least JoJo’s ailing grandmother got to see her do a solo. Another problem that we are facing is sibling rivalry. Mackenzie had out-dancer sister Maddie, who was always the favorite but when it came to the group routine, Abby replace Mackenzie with Maddie. The moms were appalled at this behavior and felt that Melissa should do something to help her daughters. She does not seem to care as she is way too far up Abby’s butt to do anything. Kendall caught a lot of smack because she had two weeks to rehearse her solo yet failed when she got on stage. Worst part: they were up against rivals MDP, who did a “devil” dance dedicated to Abby. They even had an Abby doll, which they gave to her after they won.
Abby and the mothers did not think that the MDP deserved to win at all and that their girls were better. But sometimes, that is the way the cookie crumbles and I think that Abby needs to be less dedicated to texting on her phone and more dedicated to watching her dancers. In an effort to throw the other team off, Abby had Maddie rehearse backstage to intimidate the other soloists but it did not work. Now, they have been defeated and there may be no coming back and it will not be a fun place to dance for a while now. Good thing some of the girls have other outlets that they are successful with.
Tonight, the moms push Abby for more dance classes after losing two competitions in a row, which makes so much sense as opposed to just yelling at the girls. When Abby refuses to take responsibility for the girls’ lack of training (because she is perfect), Kira takes matters into her own hands and brings in outside help, which infuriates Abby. Meanwhile, Abby pressures Maddie to regain her standing as ALDC’s top dancer. This could be the end for Kira and Kalani.
